Our Demineralization Plants deliver high-purity, mineral-free water using advanced ion exchange technology, ensuring reliable performance for industrial and commercial applications.
Demineralization Plant
Overview
A Demineralization Plant (DM Plant) is designed to remove dissolved salts, minerals, and impurities from raw water, producing high-purity water suitable for industrial and commercial applications. By eliminating ions such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, and sulfate, DM Plants ensure water meets the stringent quality requirements of industries where mineral-free water is essential.
How It Works
DM Plants operate on the principle of ion exchange technology. Raw water passes through cation and anion exchange resins which replace unwanted ions with hydrogen (H⁺) and hydroxyl (OH⁻) ions. These combine to form pure water. For high-purity requirements, mixed-bed polishing units are also used.
