Reverse Osmosis Plant

Advanced membrane technology to remove dissolved salts, chemicals, and impurities

About this plant

Overview

A Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant is one of the most reliable and effective solutions for producing pure, safe, and great-tasting water. Using advanced membrane filtration technology, RO plants remove dissolved salts (TDS), hardness, chemicals, heavy metals, bacteria, and viruses from water.

How it works

The RO process uses a semi-permeable membrane that allows only pure water molecules to pass through while rejecting dissolved impurities and contaminants. The result is clean water on one side and concentrated impurities (reject water) on the other.

Why choose it

Key Features

High Purification Efficiency Removes up to 99% of dissolved salts and impurities.
Custom-Built Designs Available in domestic, commercial, and industrial models.
Energy Efficient & Low Maintenance Built for long-term, cost-effective performance.
Automatic Operation Easy-to-use control panel and safety systems.
Durable Build Quality Corrosion-resistant materials for reliability and long life.

Step by step

Treatment Process

  1. Raw water and pre-treatment Sand and activated carbon filtration remove suspended solids, chlorine and organics that would foul the membranes.
  2. Antiscalant dosing A small dose protects the membranes from scale forming on the surface.
  3. Cartridge filtration Fine filters catch any remaining particles before the high-pressure pump.
  4. High-pressure RO membranes Pressure forces water through the membrane while salts and contaminants are rejected.
  5. Treated water storage Product water goes to storage, with UV or other post-treatment where required.

Frequently Asked Questions

What water quality can an RO plant treat?

RO works across a wide range of dissolved solids. The right design depends on your water analysis, so we size the plant from a lab report of your source water.

How often do the membranes need replacing?

With proper pre-treatment and regular maintenance, membranes commonly last a few years. Actual life depends on feed water quality and how the plant is operated.

What happens to the reject water?

Reject water is not drinking quality but is often reused for gardening, flushing or cleaning. Higher-recovery designs reduce the amount wasted.
